  6. The trashcan has a number of faults :
  7.  
  8. * A trashcan is needed on every volume (Floppy disks, Hard disks e.t.c)
  9.  
  10. * The trashcan does not delete files directly, they are stored in a special
  11.   directory until the user selects "Empty Trash"
  12.  
  13. * The trashcan is located in the window of the root directory of a drive.
  14.   It is not always easy to get to in a crowded workbench screen.

  17. "The Bin" solves these problems by :
  18.  
  19. * Placing one icon in the actual workbench window.
  20.  
  21. * Files are deleted straight away (the user is asked to confirm)
  22.  
  23. * Using the commodity system. A Hotkey will bring up the control window.

  26. "The Bin" is written by Kevin Sheedy and requires Workbench 2.0 or above.
